HOW TO USE THE ICE PACK
PREPARE THE GEL PAD
Lay the perineal ice pad flat in the freezer. Ensure that it's positioned in a way that allows it to freeze evenly and maintain its shape. Freeze the gel pack for one hour.
INSERT THE ICE PAD INTO THE SLEEVE
Always use the gel pack within the sleeve. Do not apply directly on the bare skin. This step is crucial to prevent direct contact with the cold pack, which can potentially cause frostbite or skin irritation.
APPLY THE ICE PAD
Gently place the covered ice pad against your perineal area. Avoid pressing or pushing it too firmly, as the cold temperature will provide relief without excessive pressure. Simply move gel pack forward or backward to fit comfortably in your underwear.
TIME LIMIT
Ice packs should typically be applied for around 20 minutes at a time. After each 20-minute application, remove the ice pad and allow your skin to warm up for about 10-15 minutes before reapplying it. This cycle can be repeated as needed.
